April/May trip by Swop Surfboards Crew Great surfers on this trip, and a very productive shaper David Charbonnel. Guys surfed from South to North in 8 days, and score PERFECT surf in 7 spots in 8 days. Colors of the board designs were as amazing as the level of surfing. See some shots in Facebook February trip : 7 persons from France had a wonderful trip with plenty of waves and most of the time lineups uncrowded. From little ht's, increasing swell, to other side to LL, down by Thunder's or up North at Bankvaults, guests really enjoyed their time. The crew was amazing for this first trip of the year, and Wijaya had a lot of good reports. Oct Trip : We had a Legend trip this time. Mates from Réunion Island were stocked.. We surf 15 spots this time with wonderful conditions with less people than we thought..We surf Half of the time alone...We stayed around Playground for 3 days, enjoy the area with plenty of left and rights. We went down south to have perfect surf from Telescopes to Lance's famous zone..We had few stops to check the beaches, fishing everyday, and relaxing after surf. We had a stop at Mark's place in Macaroni and they were so friendly like everytime. Thanks Guys!!!!see you soon! We came back up north, cruising every breaks on the way.. July Trip : We start by a playground trip for 2 days, natural footers on the Wijaya liked bankvault and Nipussi..Goofy footers ( include myself) were stocked to surf Ebay alone 3/5 ft perfect !!!! We went down more south to surf iceland 7/8 ft of shore with only one other boat. few sessions with big drops, and long down the line surf.... then arrived the magics days where we had PErfect HT's and LL...6/8 ft glassy or off shore.. full of barrels for everybody...Nicolas got his best front hand barrel ever, with a big set coming suddenly : late drop, short but heavy bottom turn.. and pulled in for many seconds...!!!we stayed there 2/3 days.. and finally décided to go little more south to discover ..Macaronis !!
the day we arrived, maca was pumping for my birthday : my best front hand barrel ever!!!! thanks a lot maca!!!late drop on a double up, straight pulled in.. and ...a witness was shouting... i was stocked!!!! Thunders was our next stop, after checking a left hander and a right hander on the way ...swell was declining but we had 5/6ft glassy with 2 boats and a living legend surfing with us.. Mister Tom Carrol himself..charging with shortboard and/or stand up Board.. respect!! On the way back north we stop once again to maca and lance's to have great surf again !! Everybody was stocked!!!! We surf 11 differents breaks in 10 days, lefts and rights, with a nice positive attitude..
MARCH TRIP : Done with smart waves at pitstop 3/5 foot glassy, Ebay 4/6ft low tide(!), Nipussi 3/5 ft glassy, Bankvault 8ft + light NW wind, Aframes 3/5 ft off shore and 4bobs 4/6 ft glassy. Always off shore or glassy , a west swell hitting from 4 to 12 feet for 7days , we were cruising around Playground zone to check everyday surf. After that , Iced Bintangs waited for us at the end of the day... hard life. We haven't see more people than 2/3 guys in the water each time. We spend a great time with others guests and Local crew. We had good fishing too..Some friends had a good Rifles few days earlier, and Rifles plays again with another day later when we were ..in Kuala Lumpur.
